Enjoy Gorilla tracking in Rwanda

Once I and my friends are decided to go for enjoy gorilla tracking. We went to Volcano National Park in Rwanda with a group. We booked 6 mouths before our gorillas permit with Hakuna Matata tours an East African travel?company which organize safaris and tours in Rwanda, Congo DRC, Uganda, Burundi, Kenya and Tanzania. We walked for hours to track the Gorillas, with armed guards through the rainforest jungle, they had their talkies and they knew roughly where the gorillas had been the day before. These animals can only wander a kilometer a day - not far at all really - but when you consider that you have been walking for 2 hours already it’s a long way!

The walk was easy for most part, in other areas though it was steep and slippery, on the way out of the park, we were very late and it had closed, we had to cut across farmland, which was slippery and steep and very wet because at this stage it was lashing it down with rain!

You are in the jungle, there are no toilets. You are going to see a family of only 600 individuals left in the world. If you have a cold or are sick you might not be allowed to go. There is no smoking, no eating and no drinking around the gorillas - they don’t want our habits.
We sure didn’t want to overstay our welcome and so as soon as our hour was up and our guide had stopped making gorillas noises. We quietly left the mountain gorillas in their own habitat - chewing on bamboo in the middle of the jungle - and trekked for 5 hours back to base.

For Romantic Holiday Book Room in the Lake District

If you’re looking for some time out and to escape the big city smoke then the Lake District has some of the largest areas of unspoilt land in all of Western Europe and offers a complete contrast to the daily grind of many UK towns and cities. There is no better way to make the most of the surrounding beauty and peace and tranquillity by opting to have a self-catering holiday by renting a traditional cottage.

No matter how long you stay the Lake District is so vast that it has something for everyone so you can just as easily enjoy a completely isolated break to take in the wonders and natural beauty of your surroundings as you can participate in the plethora of outdoor activities that define much of the tourist offering in the area.

A self-catering break offers you a great deal of flexibility and with accommodation dotted amongst the traditional market towns of the area such as Keswick or Ambleside, sitting on the hillsides overlooking the magnificent "romantic" lake of Ullswater or within one of the most popular quaint local villages such as Grasmere, there is something to suit all tastes and budgets.

Lake District Cottages will traditionally be fully equipped with all mod-cons including home entertainment systems and televisions, as well as music systems in addition to kitchen white goods such as washing machines, dishwashers, microwaves and some many even have the added luxury of a hot tub. Many also offer catering as well as self-catering options giving you the flexibility to tailor your holiday depending on your needs. Cottage accommodation also offers more of a homely feel and many choose this type of accommodation particularly in the Lake District as a way of really experiencing local life that you simply do not get in larger hotel chains or resorts.

An average search of Holiday Cottages Lake District accommodation will provide a cross section of properties from the traditional thatched cottage that would sleep a family of 4, to a smaller modern cottage to sleep 2 or you can also find clusters of cottages to provide accommodation for larger groups of people within the same area.
